Fidget spinnershttp://woe.scdsb.on.ca/about-us/news/school-news/79Fidget spinners<span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:"calibri",sans-serif,serif,"emojifont";color:#1f497d;"></span> <p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:"calibri",sans-serif,serif,"emojifont";">The staff at Worsley have had numerous discussions  about fidget spinners and their effect on the learning environment at Worlsey.  These have been proven to disrupt learning, cause conflict and distract many from their ability to learn.  There have been also numerous cases of missing spinners.  In light of this, we are officially banning these from our school as a personal device.  Please do not bring these to school anymore. Please leave them at home, not in your bag or anywhere on school property.  Just a note to remember,  You may see students using sensory type items at school that help them focus,  these always need to be recommended by your teachers.  Thank you for helping protect our learning environment.  </span></p>
