BOOK DRIVEhttp://woe.scdsb.on.ca/about-us/news/school-news/96BOOK DRIVE
There is a new and exciting book drive happening here at Worsley throughout the month of November! A former student has created an organization collecting books and donating them to less fortunate youth. We kindly ask everyone that has any gently used children’s books to bring them to school to donate! We will accept anything from children’s books to young adult novels and appreciate every donation. The book drive will end December 1st. Help spread the importance and worth of literacy to less fortunate! Thank you for your donations

Morning drop off and Pick up on 40th Street: http://woe.scdsb.on.ca/about-us/news/school-news/95Morning drop off and Pick up on 40th Street:
We have been monitoring the drop off and pick up on 40th street over the past few weeks and have implemented a few changes to ensure that there is space for drop off at the entry gates. The west side of the street ( closest to the school) is designated by the town to allow parking. To ensure that there is a space close to the curb for drop offs, we have sectioned off an area with pylons that allows parents to drive in and drop off their children. Please drive in towards the curb to drop off your child. We ask families to use this area to assist you with drop offs. Please feel free to park in any of the other available spots along the road if you will be escorting your child into the playground. The Town regulates parking on the street and allows parking on the west side of 40th for all those who need to park. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe!
