The Simcoe County District School Board developed a Multi-Year Plan in 2010 which sets the priorities of the board for a four-year period called The Simcoe Path. It was developed with input from trustees, staff, parents, community members and students. These goals and directions reflect areas of focus for improved student achievement, parent/community involvement and providing a range of opportunities for all students. Board Improvement Plan
Based on this multi-year plan, a Board Improvement Plan for Student Achievement and Well-Being (BIPSA-WB) is created each year. The BIPSA-WB identifies the goals and priorities for system planning under three pillars; Community, Caring and Culture, Learning and Teaching, and Pathways, Planning and Programming. School Improvement Plan
Each school uses the BIPSA-WB to collaboratively develop a School Improvement Plan for Student Achievement and Well-Being (SIPSA-WB). This plan contains school-specific goals and targeted areas of focus for the year.
